What Zoomy Tag does

Zoomy Tag applies one tag selected by the user to a list of ZoomInfo contact profile links supplied by the user. It operates in the user's existing, signed-in ZoomInfo session only after the user starts a batch.

Information Zoomy Tag handles

Zoomy Tag handles the following information only as needed to provide its tagging feature:

• Submitted text. Contact profile URLs, the tag name, and any invalid lines entered in the form. Raw invalid lines are used only while validating the form and are not saved in the extension-session job; only their count is saved.
• ZoomInfo browsing information. Supplied and resolved contact URLs, the work-tab URL and loading state, and timestamps associated with job progress.
• Visible ZoomInfo page content. Page structure, contact-profile headings, visible tag names and states, tag controls, notices, and verification, rate-limit, or access warnings needed to operate and verify the workflow. The extension may examine visible page text to recognize warnings, but does not retain a copy of the page.
• Operational state. A random job identifier, progress, retries, completion results, already-tagged status, locally generated errors, and short-lived tab or processing identifiers while a job is active.

Zoomy Tag does not request or read ZoomInfo passwords, authentication cookies, authentication tokens, payment information, email contents, messages, or browsing activity outside https://app.zoominfo.com/* pages needed for a user-started batch. It uses the signed-in session through the normal ZoomInfo webpage without extracting session credentials.

Clipboard access

Zoomy Tag does not request clipboard access at installation. When the user presses Paste, Chrome may ask the user to grant optional clipboard-read permission. If granted, Zoomy Tag reads clipboard text only in direct response to that click. It does not monitor the clipboard in the background.

The user can decline or revoke permission and paste manually. Clipboard text is placed into the contact-links field and processed on the user's device only after the batch starts.

How information is used

Information is used only to:

• Validate and deduplicate contact links supplied by the user.
• Navigate a dedicated work tab to the supplied ZoomInfo contact profiles.
• Find ZoomInfo's tagging controls and apply or create the requested tag.
• Confirm whether ZoomInfo shows the requested tag on each contact.
• Save, restore, retry, stop, and report the session-managed job.
• Recognize access, verification, or rate-limit warnings and stop instead of continuing.

Zoomy Tag does not use this information for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or sale to data brokers.

Session storage & retention

Zoomy Tag supports Chrome 102 and later. On those supported versions, the active or completed job is stored in chrome.storage.session, Chrome-managed in-memory extension storage. This lets the job survive popup closure and normal Manifest V3 service-worker suspension during the current browser and extension session.

The session record can include valid and resolved ZoomInfo URLs, the tag name, the count of invalid lines, progress and timestamps, per-contact status, retry counts, and failure reasons. It does not include malformed raw lines, and Zoomy Tag does not copy the record into chrome.storage.local or synchronized storage.

If an open panel's extension context is interrupted while a job is starting, the panel can temporarily place the complete pending start request—including the raw links field and tag name—in that extension page's separate sessionStorage. Recovery removes it when read and will not reuse a record more than two minutes old. If recovery never reads it, the browser controls the underlying page-session lifetime.

Page text used to locate controls, verify contacts, or detect warnings is processed in the ZoomInfo tab and is not copied into the saved job. Short-lived page fingerprints used to prevent action on the wrong contact remain only in that tab's extension context.

The record remains available only for the current browser and extension session unless the user chooses Tag another list or starts a replacement job sooner. Chrome clears it when the browser restarts or the extension is disabled, reloaded, or updated. Confirmed ZoomInfo actions remain in ZoomInfo after an interruption. The publisher does not receive or synchronize this session record.

Network activity & sharing

Zoomy Tag has no developer-operated backend, advertising SDK, analytics service, or crash-reporting service. It does not automatically send job data or logs to the publisher.

ZoomInfo receives the normal HTTPS page requests and tag actions needed to carry out the user's request in the signed-in account. ZoomInfo handles that information under the user's agreement with ZoomInfo and ZoomInfo's privacy terms.

Because Zoomy Tag navigates an ordinary Chrome work tab, visited profile URLs may appear in Chrome's browsing history according to the user's Chrome settings. Zoomy Tag does not request the history permission or inspect unrelated history.

The optional Give feedback / Report a bug form ↗ is hosted by Google. Merely using Zoomy Tag does not send job data to that form. Opening it is an intentional navigation, and submitting it is a separate voluntary action. Google and the form owner may receive what the user chooses to submit and normal technical information associated with visiting a Google Form. Do not include ZoomInfo credentials or unnecessary personal data.

The publisher does not sell, rent, or share extension data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. A human can see information only when the user deliberately includes it in feedback or a support request, or when access is required by law or for security and is permitted under applicable policy.

Security

Zoomy Tag uses packaged extension code, restricts extension access to https://app.zoominfo.com/*, and does not download or execute remotely hosted code. Job information is held in Chrome-managed in-memory extension-session storage, is not copied to local or synchronized extension storage, and is not sent to the publisher.

No storage or processing method is completely secure, so users should not paste credentials or other secrets into the extension.

Your choices & deletion

Users can stop a running batch at any time. After a job finishes or stops, selecting Tag another list clears its in-memory session record. Starting a replacement job also replaces it, and Chrome clears it automatically when the browser restarts or the extension is disabled, reloaded, or updated.

Children

Zoomy Tag is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the effective date will be updated and any disclosure or consent required by the Chrome Web Store will be provided before the changed practice takes effect.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Zoomy Tag's use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Zoomy Tag limits its use of user data to providing or improving its single user-facing purpose. It does not use or transfer user data for personalized advertising, lending or credit decisions, or unrelated purposes.
